By scheduling a junk removal service through Junk Haul-Stars, you agree to the following terms and conditions. Please read them carefully.
1. Service Overview
Junk Haul-Stars connects you with independent, pre-vetted junk removal professionals ("Service Providers") who will fulfill your junk removal request. Junk Haul-Stars is a dispatch and coordination platform and does not directly perform junk removal services.
2. Scheduling & Cancellations
- All appointments are scheduled based on Service Provider availability.
- You may cancel or reschedule up to 24 hours before your scheduled time without penalty.
- Cancellations within 24 hours may be subject to a cancellation fee of $50.
3. Pricing & Payment
- Pricing is based on volume, weight, labor, access, and disposal fees as quoted at the time of booking or upon arrival.
- Final pricing may vary based on actual load size and materials.
- You agree to pay all service charges upon completion of the job, including any applicable taxes or disposal fees.
4. Responsibility & Liability
- Junk Haul-Stars and its Service Providers will take reasonable care when removing items, but are not responsible for:
- Damage caused by the removal of items embedded in walls, floors, or structures
- Hazardous materials, items not disclosed during booking, or improper disposal of restricted items
- You are responsible for ensuring safe and legal access to all items being removed.
5. Text Messaging Consent
By booking with Junk Haul-Stars, you agree to receive text messages regarding your service, including appointment confirmations, updates, arrival notifications, follow-ups, and review requests.
- Message & data rates may apply.
- You can opt out at any time by replying STOP to any message.
- For help, reply HELP or contact us directly.
6. No-Shows & Inaccessible Items
- If the Service Provider arrives and is unable to access the items due to locked gates, absent contact person, or unsafe conditions, a $75 trip fee may apply.
- Please ensure someone is available during the scheduled service window.
7. Prohibited Items
We (and our Service Providers) cannot accept the following:
- Asbestos, biohazards, medical waste
- Explosives or firearms
If you’re unsure, please ask before booking.
8. Photo & Review Requests
You may receive a request to provide a photo of the items prior to your service to help with quoting. You may also receive a follow-up request to leave a review after your job is completed.
9. Changes to Terms
Junk Haul-Stars reserves the right to update these Terms & Conditions at any time. Continued use of our services constitutes agreement to the most current version.
